Project Overview: The Back from the Brink project is a multi partner project seeking to protect and conserve biodiversity in the East Gippsland CMA region.
The Back from the Brink project is a multi partner project seeking to protect and conserve biodiversity in the East Gippsland CMA region. The Project will operate primarily on private land and seek to increase the National Reserve System through covenanting and improve the quality of remnant vegetation through the reduction of critical threats and selective revegetation.
The GPCMN will
•Fence 20 ha of remnant vegetation
•Produce 2 management plans
•Restore 22ha covering 3 sites
•Establish monitoring sites and follow up of 4 sites
•Follow up restoration at 2 scattered tree sites covering a minimum of 5 ha
•Produce 2 newsletters “ On the plains and in the Rainforest”
